Educommunication in the zipaquireña school: a place for popular culture

Abstract
The school, responding to structured dynamics from stipulated curricula,
withdraws into the era of globalization, favoring discourse aimed at
homogenizing culture. For this reason, this work sought to generate new
spaces within education for the incorporation of popular culture, along with
this, the investigation of identity processes within the Zipaquireño
municipality (Cundinamarca-Colombia), which after its execution
managed to find central points in the Zipaquirá of before and the Zipaquirá
of now. In this way, guiding both the investigative and pedagogical process
from the IAP methodology and towards the popular, it was sought to link
Popular Education with modern discourse, seeking the integration of
politics (understood from the rescue of memory and the formation of the
culture) with education, creating in it a horizontal axis of mainstreaming
of higher education and basic education. to link reflective consciousness
from there, with spaces for the construction of knowledge experienced and
investigated by students and the community, in the constant and dialogical
search for emancipatory values of the local, the latent, the everyday from
their own identity.
